" Workin It Out " Diary Entry 5

Okay I know its been awhile since my last post, but between work, working out, and thanksgiving its been really hectic.

Even though thanksgiving had rolled around I still stuck to my workout regimine as well as my eating habits. Yes I did slam on thanksgiving but I was allowed to!!!lol what I have been doin is saving 1 free day out the week where I can eat what I want.

I was talking to my trainer and she felt it was a good idea. She was discussing having me do only a 1200 calorie a day diet, but felt that with my hardwork, dedication, and meal journal that I keep, I wouldn't have to do that. Just stick to a good healty breakfast and then 6 to 7 small meals throughout the day.

I've been pretty good with the eating habits, so far. Its not too hard because I love to cook and have gotten a few recipes off of websites that are pretty healthy, but still good too!! I've also been cutting down on soda too. With my job I need the soda to keep me going, but I've been cutting back and finding myself drinking vitamin water ( energize, focus, and of course formula 50) and always that high quality H2O!!!

So far I've been getting plenty of cardio, upper body, and lower body workouts. My trainer is really a beast and she really makes sure that I'm on my ish!!! Even when I go to the gym not to meet with her and she's there, she always check to make sure I'm doin what I'm suppose to!!!

I definitely appreciate that cause I know she's looking out for my best interest and also wanting to help me get to my goal. Case in point: She was my 8am wake up call today to make sure I made it to bootcamp!!!lol and she even took the class with me since my cuzzo didn't go with me.

I must say that I'm very pleased at the work that I've been doing and the progress I've been making. I'm definitely far from where I wanna be physically, but mentally I'm focused man!!!! With her help and the encouragement and support from those who know I want this and can do this helps make it a lot easier.

My goal was to loose 15 to 20 pounds by Jan 1 2009. I don't see that goal not being obtained. I hadn't did a post for awhile not only because of the busy schedule I have, but I was really waiting for my weigh in. I'm on a great pace and I wanna keep it up and not plateau. Every 2 weeks I will be weighing in to see my weight loss. Once I hit 10 pounds it will be a weekly weigh in. So I guess ill be seeing the scale a lot more since I'm only 4 pounds away from my first 10 pounds lost!!!! Yaaaaaay!!!
