A California federal judge has issued an arrest warrant for Joe Francis, founder of the mega-successful Girls Gone Wild videos. Seems the 35 year-old was a no-show at a hearing in his tax evasion case.
Francis is charged with claiming more than $20 million in phony business expenses on his corporate tax returns, including $3.8 million for a house in Mexico and $10.4 million in fake consulting services.
Although Francis has not responded to a call for comment, he has pleaded not guilty and the trial is scheduled for March. Insert your own joke about who he'll want sitting on his jury.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the porn industry just asking for a bailout?? Joe isn't specifically porn, but he's pretty much close to it. Him needing a bailout but can't take care of his taxes?? Hmmmmm.......
