Omahyra Mota.....I Just Love Her Style

Mota was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic but moved to New York at the age of 10 with her mother, grandmother, two sisters and brother, as her mother wanted her to have a better life and study at better schools. Her mother also believed she would one day become a model and constantly urged her to send photos of herself to modelling agencies and told her every day that someday she'd be famous. She was first discovered by Boss Models at the age of 16 and has since made quite an impact on the world of modeling.

Mota has modeled for designers such as Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Cynthia Steffe, Fendi, Nina Ricci, Sean John, Baby Phat, Heatherette, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roca Wear, Samantha Treacy, and Jay McCarroll and has also taken part in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show of 2001. Also, she was flown in especially by Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B.'s show during New York's 2005 Fashion Week.

She has also worked with Terry Richardson. She is known for modeling both men's and women's clothing.

Mota was voted one of People magazine's 50 most beautiful people in 2001.

Mota has had small acting roles in a few films, making her acting debut in Brett Ratner's After the Sunset and then appearing in State Property 2 in 2004. Recently, Mota has attracted some attention by landing the role of Arclight in the X-Men movie, X-Men: The Last Stand.

I just love her style and her presence on the runway!!! She is one the most popular models, especially in urban wear out today!! She has been around for along time. I love that she is able to be on both runways for women and men. Her look is soo androgynous, that she can pull the sexiness of a woman off, but also the toughness of a man as well. So she's def double booking the modeling jobs!!!Lol

Keep rocking it out momma!!!

I must say that I am highly impressed with your productivity.

I always wonder about how much to post.

1: Should a blogger post as often as he-she has the time for?
2: Should a blogger put up a post and just let the topic marinate for 1-3 days?
